Finance Executive

Position summary - Finance Executive is responsible for the collection of payments from clients on behalf of the company. They supervise a team of clerks and oversee the timely and accurate invoicing of customers and the handling of overdue payments according to the company’s policies.

Join our team as a Finance Executive and take charge of Account Receivable and Cash management.

Reports TO – Finance Manager

TEAM STRUCTURE – They would have 1 direct report 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow up with customers for the daily collection.
  • Warm calling and reaching out to the right person with fast pace/accuracy to get payments.
  • Coordination with Sales/service/logistics teams for Direct/Indirect AR collection support related to documentation/Invoicing etc.
  • Working on application of receipts reflected in the bank accounts in AX system and support the Senior Finance Executive for the Bank reconciliation process.
  • Support in preparation of Cash flow statement, Bank related matters and AR audits (only need based).

ROLE EXPECTATIONS Finance Executive are the backbone of any finance team – essentially keeping track of due payments, dealing with customers, and ensuring that company cash flow remains healthy.

Selection criteria, Relevant Knowledge, and competencies)

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of work experiences as Accounts Receivable or Accountant Supervisor level.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong in MS Office (Excel)

Preferred to have:

  • Good English communication skill (Read, write, and speak).
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (AX)

Required competencies and soft skills (- soft skills required for the role, -most relevant leadership dimensions)

  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
