The Solution Marketing Manager position is open for a one-year contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
We are looking for someone with a fresh perspective to position and communicate our products and solutions across the industries we serve. As the candidate in this role, you will be given the chance to shine and show ownership for your products and solutions as part of a small yet very dynamic, proactive, and international team.
That is correct, you will be part of the business as opposed to a support function which gives you a chance to have closer ties to the sales process and receive quick feedback as to what resonates best in customer interactions.

HID’s IAM Authentication (Auth) Business (BU):
The Solution Marketing Manager position is part of the HID IAM Authentication (Auth) Business (BU).
As the person in this role, you will be responsible for a portion of the portfolio offered by the Auth BU which includes DigitalPersona, HID Approve, Identity Verification Service and Risk Management Solution. You will also be managing our partnerships with key fraud prevention solution providers and banking platform partners with whom we have integrations.
This role reports to the Director of Communications and Solution Marketing and is part of a dynamic, proactive and international BU team.
The role’s main purpose is to enable an increased awareness and sales growth for the Auth BU product portfolio. You will be the connecting point between the market intelligence, product development and sales teams. It’s about translating the technical details and market evolution into a tangible value proposition that can be used to enable the business growth. In a way, you are accountable for the pulse of the market for your solutions and continuously need to stay up to date to fully enable sales and marketing teams.
As our Solutions Marketing Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Conducting competitive and market analysis to ensure the best strategic positioning of our solutions and products against the competition but also how we can help our customers meet regulatory and corporate guideline compliance.
- Champion the development and regular update of a compelling messaging for each of your solutions to appeal to the key buying and influential personas identified.
- Translate sophisticated and complex technical features via real-life scenarios and use cases, into clear, compelling, and memorable stories of end-customer value by audience type.
- Coordinate and own the process of product and solution launches including building a go to market strategy that is interconnected with sales training efforts.
- Develop launch material content and guidelines based on our BU strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams to execute high-impact fully integrated programs.
- Create and adapt the solution and product materials specific to your offering to fit various regional sales and market needs.
- Continuously improve and update the internal SharePoint Authentication Hub where we store and share the latest internal news as well as sales enablement materials.
- Provide sales enablement and opportunity support to the regional teams to help solve customer challenges related to your solutions around the world.
- Closely collaborate with all sales teams (inside sales, pre-sales and external sales), marketing communication and product management teams to ensure alignment in value proposition and priorities across all channels.
- Coordinate meetings and be the point of contact with key partners with whom we have integrations.
What we will love about your background:
- Proven track record of successful product and/or solution management and launches.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with diverse, multicultural audiences, managing expectations and fostering positive relationships
Your Experience and Education include:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering or equivalent of relevant experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience working closely with financial services, IT, technology development, security or identity management software solutions.
- Experience in highly regulated industries such as banking and financial services, critical infrastructure or government.
- Experience doing market research represents a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written. The ability to also communicate in German, French or Spanish would provide you with a strong advantage.
