We are currently looking for a Senior iOS Developer to join our Digital Access Systems (DAS) organisation in our EMEIA division. Your role will be to develop our next generation smart door product line;developing advanced configuration tools for our connected access control devices - such as wireless locks and controllers.

What you would do as Senior iOS Developer
Your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS devices
- Integration of application with cloud and embedded wireless devices
- Write clean code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
The skills and experience you need
In order to be successful, we expect you will demonstrate the following:

3+ years’ experience of programming Swift for iOS applications.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Master’s degree highly beneficial)

Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with cloud services
-
Experience with Swift UI and good understanding of iOS release cycle

Experience in the following will also be advantageous:

BLE communication protocol and the relevant iOS APIs
-
Development of mobile applications for connected IoT devices
-
Familiar with TLS, Keychain, MFA, OAuth and PKI
-
Familiar with APIs for offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Familiar with git, continuous integration and delivery practices
-
Familiarity and experience with agile development methodologies
You are a talented individual with an open mindset, who takes initiative and is eager to learn. Additionally, we’re looking for evidence that you are a result-oriented, problem solver by heart that sees solutions instead of problems. Excellent team working skills are essential and you should enjoy collaborating with others - being prepared to both help and ask for help when needed.
