ASSA ABLOY is the global leader in access solutions, operating in 70+ countries with over 67,000 colleagues. We create safer, more convenient ways for people to move through the world. We value diverse perspectives, inclusive teams and giving people room to grow.

You’ll join the Global UX team within the Commercial organization, based in either Stockholm or Malmö. We support the entire ASSA ABLOY Group with UX expertise, maintain our unified design system, and support two core digital products used across all divisions worldwide. Our work spans strategy, research, interaction design and experience governance. We operate as a small, collaborative team with a welcoming and open approach partnering closely with brands and product teams and the 70+ UX community to raise UX maturity and drive consistent, high-quality digital experiences at scale.

What you would do as our Senior UX Designer
As our Senior UX Designer, you will drive research, ideation, and interaction design across key initiatives. You’ll take ownership of the full UX process—framing problems, uncovering insights, and translating them into clear, validated solutions. A central part of the role will be leading UX efforts for a major internal project aimed at elevating employee experience across the Group, ensuring that user needs and business goals are aligned and actionable.

You would also:
• Plan and run user research and usability testing.
• Facilitate ideation and concept workshops.
• Create UX Design and prototypes compliant with digital design system (DDS).
• Develop and refine UI patterns for digital products.
• Lead UX work in a major employee-experience project.
• Support UX metrics, validation and continuous improvement.

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
• 5–7 years of hands-on UX experience across research and interaction design.
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work.
• Strong user-research capabilities and the ability to translate insights into actionable concepts.
• High proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and collaborative workflows.
• Strong interaction-design skills and the ability to simplify complexity.
• Experience creating and evolving UI patterns aligned with a design system.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.

Nice to have:
• Experience with internal platforms or large-scale employee-facing tools.
• Ability to use analytics and behavioral data to inform decisions.
• Exposure to design-system governance.
• Experience collaborating with distributed or hybrid teams.

What we offer

We’re passionate about providing amazing opportunities and benefits - here’s what we have to offer:

• Impactful work on products and employee-facing solutions used worldwide.
• A collaborative, international UX environment.
• A focused 6–7 month assignment in Stockholm or Malmö.
