Senior Cloud Software Developer – Digital Access & IoT

Build the Digital Backbone of Secure Access
Location: Stockholm, Sweden or Krakow, Poland
Hybrid │ Digital & Access Solutions

Take ownership of the cloud and web applications that secure millions of buildings worldwide. At ASSA ABLOY, Angular, Go, and cloud services aren’t just tools — they’re the backbone of systems people rely on every day. As a Senior Cloud Software Developer, you will join the Wireless Lock products Unit in the EMEIA Digital Access Solutions organisation. You’ll build front-end and backend applications that connect physical access hardware with secure, intuitive digital experiences.

This is a role for developers who care about clean Angular architecture, robust backend engineering, and software that must work — every day

Your Role
You’ll work hands-on with cloud applications that form the backbone of our connected access ecosystem, shaping how they are designed, built, and delivered.

Design, Build, Deliver
•    Develop and maintain modern Angular applications delivering intuitive, reliable user experiences.
•    Build and integrate backend services and APIs with Go and AWS Lambda, orchestrating S3, CloudFront, and serverless workflows.
•    Ensure code quality, structure, performance, and maintainability across the stack.
•    Develop and maintain automated tests using frameworks.

Engineer for Real-World Reliability
•    Collaborate with UX, cloud, embedded, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
•    Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards, and security practices.
•    Improve CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and test automation approaches.

Build Software That’s Trusted
•    Deliver applications that support secure access across homes, workplaces, hospitals, and public buildings.
•    Balance usability, performance, and security in software people depend on daily.
•    Apply a quality-first mindset to every system you design and build.

What You Bring
•    Strong experience with Angular — this is essential (at least 2 years of professional experience).
•    Hands-on experience with backend development, preferably in Go (Golang), and familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud service integrations.
•    Knowledge of test automation tools such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress, and experience with CI/CD practices using Git.
•    A background in Agile Scrum development and strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
•    A technical education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.

What You Gain by Joining Us

Autonomy & Ownership
This is a hands-on role where your expertise shapes both frontend and backend architecture, test automation, and cloud service integration. You’ll have the freedom to drive solutions end-to-end, make technical decisions, and improve delivery processes.

Growth & Technical Development
Whether your goal is to deepen Angular expertise, master Go/AWS backend systems, or move into technical leadership, we’ll support your continuous growth. You’ll gain exposure to large-scale cloud applications and cutting-edge digital access platforms used worldwide.

A Culture That Backs You
Work in a team built on trust, transparency, and respect for work–life balance. We value open communication, knowledge-sharing, and a solutions-driven mindset. Your voice matters — and your work will be recognised across the organisation.
