R&D Software Manager – ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Hospitality
📍 Location: Stockholm, Sweden

We’re looking for an experienced RnD Line Manager who can inspire, guide, and coach our development teams to deliver world-class solutions for the Hospitality industry. In this role, you’ll lead agile, cross-functional teams working on cloud and firmware products, shaping the future of access control technology.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers based in Stockholm
- Drive software and firmware development with a strong focus on quality, security, and customer relevance
- Manage budgets and ensure timely delivery of projects aligned with specifications and milestones
- Motivate and engage teams, fostering creativity and collaboration
- Promote a results-driven culture and continuous improvement
- Oversee product certifications and compliance processes
- Act as a key link between Product Development and R&D
What you bring
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing highly skilled engineers
- Hands-on understanding of software and embedded systems
- Proven track record in Agile methodologies and project management
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Commercial awareness and ability to adapt to changing business needs
