Are you ready to make a global impact and drive innovation in a collaborative, agile environment?
Join our team at ASSA ABLOY Join our team and enjoy a collaborative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of as we enhance our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystem and help innovation centers and manufacturing sites across the world work more efficiently. This full-time, permanent position will immerse you in a truly global setting, requiring cross-cultural communication with stakeholders from various continents.
What you will do as our PLM business analyst:
As PLM business analyst you will support Product Owners and the Engagement Manager by documenting current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) workflows using simple, intuitive process mapping techniques. You would also:
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine user stories, ensuring they align with the product strategy and follow the ‘INVEST’ principles (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small, Testable).
- Validate story completion by ensuring that all acceptance criteria are met, including compliance with the Definition of Done (DoD).
- Foster Built-In Quality, working closely with the team to identify and resolve quality issues in real-time.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and the Program Manager to develop benefit hypotheses based on customer needs, validating these hypotheses through continuous feedback throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify key customer needs and ‘jobs to be done’ that deliver the most value.
- Maintain user-centric test scenarios and ensure training materials focus on user experience rather than technical details.
The skills and experience you need:
We are looking for someone who has:
- 4 - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role within a manufacturing company, ideally working with engineers in R&D or manufacturing environments.
- Practical knowledge of SAFe’s Design Thinking and Gemba Walks principles.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
- Experience working on multicultural projects, particularly remotely across different time zones and cultures.
- Hands-on experience with tools, demonstrating them with simple examples and blueprint scenarios.
The ideal candidate is a strong active listener who digs deeper to understand the true meaning behind answers. They excel in presenting clear and insightful analyses, effectively communicating requirements to both stakeholders and IT teams. Self-driven and result-oriented, they adapt easily to change and approach challenges with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
