We have an exciting range of subjects. Please remember to indicate in your application if you're interested in other subjects as well, and mark them in your order of preference. Please also let us know your thoughts on how you would approach the subject. Please note that most of your work will be done at our site in Liljeholmen, Stockholm.   
 

While we aim to support all proposed thesis subjects, we may need to change or cancel a project due to unexpected circumstances.  
 

Master thesis nr 4. Decision-Making Criteria at Key Stages: 

 

Explore decision-making criteria used at key stages in product development and investment decisions. Evaluate how companies in similar industries set up "gates" for investment, product feasibility, and market readiness. 
 

  • Investigate how process design can influence behavioural change in decision-making at senior management levels, particularly in product development. 
     

  • Focus Areas: What are the critical criteria for deciding whether to invest in or continue with a product initiative at each stage? How should these criteria evolve as organizations adopt more agile methods? 
     

  • What behavioural shifts are needed to encourage more agile and market-oriented decisions in top-level P&L management? How can process design act as a catalyst for these changes? 
     

Outcome: A refined set of decision-making criteria aligned with Agile, top-level decision-making, and lightweight governance incorporating desired behavioural changes.
