Your Impact
As Head of Platforms & Core Services, you will play a pivotal role in building, shaping, and governing the shared technology platforms that power all product units across our portfolio. Reporting directly to the CTO, you define the platform vision that enables scale, accelerates product innovation, ensures interoperability, and supports the integration of acquired businesses.
You will architect the foundations—platforms, data, integration frameworks, security principles—that allow our teams to move faster, integrate effectively, and deliver a coherent ecosystem to customers around the world.
This is a deeply technical, architecture‑led leadership role at the center of a global enterprise that continues to grow through innovation and acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & Architecture Leadership
- Define and evolve the enterprise platform strategy across cloud, data, integration, and shared services.
- Own reference architectures, architectural standards, and governing technical principles across product domains.
- Act as senior solution architect for complex cross‑brand or cross‑product initiatives.
- Ensure platform decisions balance scalability, security, resilience, and long‑term maintainability.
Business Integration & M&A Technology Roadmaps
- Own the technology integration strategy for acquired companies.
- Build and maintain rolling technology roadmaps covering:
- Platform migration of acquired products and teams
- Decommissioning of legacy systems
- Contribute to technical due diligence for future acquisitions.
- Establish repeatable integration patterns to accelerate M&A activity.
Integration & Interoperability
- Own API, middleware, and event‑driven integration standards.
- Enable seamless interoperability across product units and with hotel ecosystems (PMS, BMS, GRMS, and third‑party systems).
- Govern integration frameworks to ensure a coherent, unified solution landscape.
Data, Analytics & Intelligence Enablement
- Own shared data platforms, pipelines, and foundational analytics infrastructure.
- Enable AI, predictive analytics, and data‑driven innovation through robust governance.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and appropriate access controls across domains.
Security, Compliance & Technical Governance
- Own security architecture, identity frameworks, and access management principles.
- Define and drive secure‑by‑design and privacy‑by‑design standards.
- Lead technical compliance programs (ISO, SOC, GDPR) with security and legal partners.
- Contribute to architecture and governance forums across the enterprise.
Skills & Experience
You bring:
- Senior leadership experience in platform architecture, distributed systems, and integration‑heavy environments.
- A proven track record steering large‑scale system integration and platform consolidation programs.
- Deep expertise in cloud‑native architectures, data platforms, and API‑led ecosystems.
- Experience integrating acquired businesses into shared enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of security architecture, governance, and compliance frameworks in complex B2B settings.
- Natural authority and credibility with senior engineers, architects, and technical leaders.
- Ability to influence effectively across a matrix organization without direct line management.
Leadership Attributes
- Systems thinker with long‑term architectural vision
- Pragmatic, outcome‑oriented decision‑maker
- Technically credible, calm, and authoritative
- Able to balance product team autonomy with enterprise coherence
- Strong communicator in complex cross‑functional environments
