HR Adviser EMEIA - Fixed Term Contract
Location: Agile working arrangement, with the core-operating base being at the Stockholm or Malmo site– Sweden
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join ASSA ABLOY's EMEIA Head Office team as an HR Adviser. This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover.
Reporting to the Head of HR Operations EMEIA, you will play a critical role in providing a generalist advisory service to the wider EMEIA Head Office team, who are based throughout the geography of Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa. The successful candidate will be proactive, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to handle a variety of HR-related tasks and projects.
The successful applicant will be confident working with data and able to translate insights into meaningful recommendations. You will partner closely with managers to support their teams across all HR‑related matters, acting as a trusted advisor throughout every stage of the annual HR cycle.
As part of the EMEIA HR team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and influence a wide range of key HR projects, including Compensation and Benefits, HR Analytics and Learning and Development. You will play a supporting role in the enhancement of our global HR Information System, SAP SuccessFactors, and you will manage multiple recruitment campaigns, working directly with applicants and liaising with our third‑party recruitment partners.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Providing a generalist HR advisory service to our employees and managers throughout the Division (accounting for c. 20 countries), ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations across the EMEIA region.
· Cooperate closely with wider HR colleagues (locally and cross-divisionally), to achieve better understanding of current HR issues and introduce the most effective solutions to resolve them
· Producing contractual documentation, including offer letters, contracts and variation to terms letters.
· Collaborate effectively with our talent acquisition team and oversee recruitment campaigns to ensure an efficient and first-class candidate experience; you will continue to support employees throughout the entirety of the employee lifecycle
· Supporting with the annual HR calendar of activities, such as pay review, objective setting and performance review.
· Monitor and report on HR metrics to support decision-making processes.
· Supporting in the enhancement of the Global HR Information System, including testing, training, support and being a general advocate for the platform
· Support with EMEIA projects and initiatives as required, such as our various learning and development programmes
· Working closely with the HRIS Specialists to ensure good adoption of the HRIS.
· Carrying out Job Architecture assessments to support our employee development, compensation and benefits strategy.
· Support with strategies to drive diversity and inclusion improvements throughout the Division.
What We Look For
The skills and experience you need
· BSc in Human Resources Management or equivalent
· Significant relevant working experience
· Good working knowledge of Swedish employment law legislation
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Experience of working in a complex international environment would be highly appreciated
· Experience of working within a unionised environment
· Working knowledge of an advanced HR Information System
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong customer focus and passion in creating trustworthy relationships
· Ability to work well as part of a team and in a fast-paced environment
· Pro-active and able to use initiative to identify solutions
· Proficient in English and Swedish
Given the divisional nature of this role, there will be some travel requirements to fulfil the role, with regular trips between Malmo and Stockholm.
