Based in Stockholm, you will work closely with divisional sustainability teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts in a cooperative international environment where analytical skills, structure, and attention to detail are highly valued.
What you would do as our Environmental Data Specialist
As an Environmental Data Specialist, you will play a key role in improving and developing our Scope 3 reporting process. Working closely with sustainability teams and stakeholders across the organisation, you will help ensure that environmental data is accurate, complete, and fit for both internal decision-making and external reporting requirements. You will combine data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration to strengthen the quality, consistency, and scalability of our reporting processes.
You would also:
• Lead the update and continuous improvement of our Scope 3 reporting tools, ensuring it remains accurate, scalable, and aligned with evolving reporting requirements.
• Drive the transition from annual to more frequent reporting cycles, improving the standards of data quality and reliability.
• Evaluate, validate, and manage large datasets while strengthening data governance, documentation, and reporting processes to improve consistency and transparency.
• Collaborate with divisions across the organisation to assist data collection, improve reporting coverage, and ensure that all relevant entities and products are accurately represented.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align with the broader sustainability reporting processes and contribute to the delivery of reliable data that assists ASSA ABLOY's sustainability targets and reporting commitments.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has 2-3 years of experience working with data analysis, reporting, sustainability, environmental data, or a related field.
• Has advanced Excel skills, including experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, Data Models, complex formulas, and working with large and complex datasets while ensuring high levels of data quality and accuracy.
• Has experience developing, maintaining, or improving reporting tools, databases, and data-driven processes, with a strong knowledge of data management and reporting best practices.
• Has a knowledge of sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, greenhouse gas emissions, or related environmental topics; familiarity with GHG Protocol principles and Scope 3 emissions reporting is considered an advantage.
• Has strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple business units and communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
You are a structured and detail-oriented professional with a passion for data and continuous improvement. You enjoy working with complex information, creating clarity, and delivering high-quality results in a cooperative environment.
