Brand/graphic designer
Are you a detail‑oriented Graphic Designer with a passion for bringing visual concepts to life and creating consistent, high‑quality brand experiences across both digital and print? If you enjoy collaborating with others, turning ideas into well‑crafted design, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects a strong visual identity, then this role could be a great match for you. ASSA ABLOY is looking for a skilled Brand / Graphic Designer to join our team. You are also comfortable working with modern AI‑supported tools to enhance your creative process using them for research, ideation, exploration, and efficiency, while applying strong design judgement to ensure all output aligns with our brand.
Based in Stockholm, Sweden, you will join our global Branding team, working closely with brand, marketing, and UX colleagues to apply and scale our visual identity across a wide range of touchpoints. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, international environment where modern tools, structured brand work, and high design standards go hand in hand and where you can build a career to be proud of.
What you will do as our Brand / Graphic Designer
As our Brand / Graphic Designer, you will primarily work with the execution and rollout of our brand across digital and print channels. You will support campaigns, communication initiatives, and brand applications by producing well-crafted, on-brand design assets, while collaborating closely with the design lead and key stakeholders.
You will take responsibility for delivering design from brief to final output, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with our visual identity.
You would also:
- Design visual assets for campaigns, presentations, brochures, events, social media, web, and other communication materials.
- Create print-ready artwork and handle production-related tasks such as prepress, formats, and dialogue with print suppliers.
- Support digital design needs across web, social, and app-related communication using tools such as Figma.
- Apply and help roll out our visual identity by developing templates and guidelines for internal stakeholders and divisions.
- Ensure consistent design quality through reviews and close collaboration with brand, UX, and other stakeholders.
- Support the use and application of existing digital design systems in collaboration with UX teams.
- Use AI-assisted tools as part of your workflow for ideation, visual exploration, and efficiency in line with internal guidelines.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
- 5 years of experience working as a graphic or brand designer, either in-house, at an agency, or a combination of both
- A solid understanding of design fundamentals such as typography, color, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and proficiency in Figma
- Experience delivering both digital and print design, with confidence in creating press-ready material
- Experience creating digital assets for web, social media, and UI-adjacent contexts (for example marketing pages or apps)
- Practical experience using AI-supported creative tools for ideation and workflow efficiency
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- A strong portfolio showcasing well-crafted, on-brand, and polished design work
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a structured brand environment, takes pride in high-quality execution, and understands how to balance creativity with consistency. You are collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders while delivering reliable, on-brand results. It’s a plus if you also have experience with motion design, After Effects, or accessibility-aware design.
