What you will do as our Backend Developer
You will be part of a cross-functional team building and running cloud-based software mainly focusing on our mobile access initiative, opening doors with your phone. You will be involved in all aspects of the application, from application design, coding of new features, setting up CI/CD pipelines, setting up infrastructure, application health, and performance monitoring. In addition, you will be working with high-level application architecture together with other teams and partners and participating in strategic initiatives like developing new standards for access control on mobile phones.
This is a hybrid role. You will be based at our development center in Liljeholmen, Stockholm a few days per week and international travel is required from time to time.
The skills and experience you need
We believe you enjoy partnerships and group collaborations, sharing ideas and experiences, and continuous development. You possess a good understanding of cloud-based software development and have an interest in keeping up with technology and best practices in terms of technologies, architecture and security.
- 2-3 years of experience with Kotlin (or Java) - a must
- Knowledge about AWS services (such as SNS, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, KMS, Secrets Manager, etc.) - a must
- Cryptography and HSMs - a plus
- CQRS and Event Sourcing - a plus
- CI/CD tools such as Git, Gitlab CI, Nexus, Sonar, Maven, AWS CDK - a plus
- Application servers such as Spring Boot - a plus
- Monitoring and logging tools like Datadog - a plus
- Agile software development methodologies - a plus
