Sr. National Account Manager - Lowe's (KW)

 

Job Summary

The Sr. National Account Manager, Lowe’s will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to Kwikset sales within the Lowe’s account. This role entails managing a portfolio of products, ensuring effective forecasting, strategic promotional planning, and driving business development within the Americas Residential segment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-driven professional who can build strong relationships with The Lowe’s key stakeholders while developing and executing strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Kwikset, a leading brand in residential door hardware and smart security solutions, is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Sr. National Account Manager to lead our business with Lowe’s. This individual will lead our Lowe’s Kwikset Team for the account and play a critical role in expanding sales, driving profitability, and strengthening Kwikset’s leadership position in the retail channel.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

Sales Growth & Channel Expansion

  • Own and drive the total sales and profit performance of the Kwikset business within Lowe’s.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic growth plans to increase sales, category share, and omnichannel presence.
  • Identify white space opportunities and lead cross-functional initiatives to expand the Kwikset product portfolio both in-store and online.

P&L Management

  • Lead development of account-specific budgets, sales forecasts, and profitability plans in partnership with finance, marketing, and operations.
  • Monitor sales and margin performance, adjusting pricing, promotions, and strategy as needed to meet or exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize assortment, reduce costs, and enhance ROI across all programs.

Strategic Customer Management

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with Lowe’s Merchandising, Marketing (Orange Apron+), Brand Advocate, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, aligning Kwikset’s brand and innovation roadmap with Lowe’s strategic initiatives.

Retail Marketing & Execution

  • Lead the development and implementation of omnichannel promotional plans, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and Lowe’s seasonal initiatives.
  • Collaborate with field teams to drive in-store execution, brand visibility, and service levels that meet Lowe’s expectations.

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Partner with internal forecasting and supply chain teams to deliver accurate demand planning and inventory management.
  • Identify and resolve potential supply challenges in collaboration with Lowe’s and internal teams.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and coach direct reports in fostering high performance and collaboration across regions.
  • Provide strategic direction to internal teams to support Lowe’s initiatives and ensure seamless account management.

 

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales or marketing within consumer products; experience in building products or home improvement preferred.
  • 2+ years of direct experience managing Lowe’s account strongly recommended.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and managing a P&L for a key customer or category.
  • Proven success in developing growth strategies, promotional plans, and pricing structures in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Lean principles is a plus.

 

Work Environment:

  • Ability to travel 30–50%, both domestically and internationally.
  • Travel required for meetings, training seminars, trade shows and end user presentations.
