Service Planner

What you would do as our Service Planner

Reporting to the Service Operations Planning Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing scheduling and resource allocation for service teams, balancing customer needs, technician efficiency, and operational goals by managing work orders, coordinating tasks, and ensuring timely service delivery, acting as a crucial link between clients and field staff for smooth, efficient operations.

 

You would also:

• Organising and coordinating parts, materials and plants to coincide with the planned visits of engineers to ensure operational efficiency.

• Ensuring all service inspections, repair or upgrade visits and call outs are made on time and within the set costs.

• Accurate forecasting and achieving of monthly and annual invoice targets and in line with the annual operating plan.

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

• Working closely with Service Operations Planning Manager to achieve the above.

 

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:

Excellent communication skills required with both customers and colleagues.

A deep knowledge and experience of deploying service engineers to operate in an optimal manner.

• The ability to work comfortably with the designated IT systems, ie Dispatch, Tracker, Dynamics AX.

Good mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.
