What would you do as our Service Planning Assistant
As our Service Planning Assistant, you would be responsible for ensuring our engineers are in the right place at the right time; whilst meeting or exceeding our customers’ expectations. The Service Planning team is the heartbeat of our organization; and a key point of contact for our field based engineers as well as our customers.
You would also be responsible for:
- Responding to customer call-outs, logging emergencies, updating customers on arrival times, delays, and job completion via phone and email.
- Ordering materials and plant equipment from internal and external suppliers, arranging collections, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Confirming job completion in the system to trigger accurate invoicing and chasing purchase order numbers from customers.
- Authorising supplier invoices for payment and ensuring cost-effective service planning.
- Handling customer queries via telephone and providing excellent customer service at all times.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong customer service skills.
- Has excellent workload management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- Is team-oriented, contributing to the success of the planning team.
- Is proficient in various IT systems, including customer-specific platforms.
- Knowledge of CRM, portals, and invoicing systems would be beneficial.
