What you would do as our Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager, reporting to the UK Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable revenue growth across a defined portfolio of Key Account customers, while also expanding our presence within emerging and future key account segments across the UK.

You will own and execute a strategic, consultative sales approach that enables Key Account customers to procure enterprise-wide solutions, while maximising value through the introduction of our broader product and solutions portfolio. This role requires strong relationship management, commercial insight, and the ability to identify and unlock new growth opportunities within complex customer environments.

The role operates on a 70/30 split, with 70% focused on managing and growing established Key Accounts, and 30% dedicated to developing future Key Accounts and new customer segments across the UK.

You would also:

• Manage and growing a portfolio of Key Account customers by building long-term, trusted relationships across multiple stakeholder levels, while owning account planning, forecasting, and pipeline management to deliver revenue and margin targets.

• Drive new customer acquisition by proactively identifying, targeting, and securing new clients, effectively positioning enterprise and non-enterprise solutions, and expanding reach across contractors, subcontractors, and emerging sectors.

• Oversee opportunity and forecast management by maintaining accurate sales forecasts, ensuring high-quality CRM data, and managing major projects and all opportunities within assigned accounts.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Area Sales Managers and wider teams to strengthen account relationships, ensure aligned customer engagement, and deliver effective local sales support.

• Track and optimizing sales performance by monitoring key metrics such as conversion rates, order value, and monthly targets, and providing regular, accurate performance reporting.
