Following our recent acquisition by ASSA ABLOY and our continued success in the UK market, Biosite is expanding its team. Joining our Service & CCTV Department, the Service & CCTV Supervisor will be responsible for championing the Biosite proposition and successfully delivering the multiple high level projects for workforce management access control solution, on a national and international scale. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop the role and make their mark in what is a rapidly growing technology company leading the way in workforce management for construction.  

 

 

Main responsibilities and tasks

Service / CCTV Supervisor

  • Team Management: Supervising and guiding field teams, ensuring they meet project goals and deadlines
  •  Quality Control: Monitoring work quality to ensure adherence to standards and specifications
  • Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment
  •  Logistics and Resources: Coordinating logistics, allocating resources, and managing inventory to optimize efficiency
  • Client Communication: Serving as a point of contact between clients and the field team, addressing concerns, and providing updates
  • Training and Development: Training field staff on procedures, safety guidelines, and ensuring continuous skill development.
  • Problem Resolution: Addressing issues as they arise, implementing solutions, and collaborating with other departments for support
  • Responsible for delivering maintenance and service levels as per customer project contracts and or contractual SLAs
  • Survey sites and projects for requirements of operational hardware and software to meet the client’s needs and in line with the contract, raising any commercial concerns to the commercial director and or head of Service
  • Work with the key account manager/s and the sales administration team to produce quotations based on site surveys and customer requirements, ensuring that products and pricing is in line with the latest price list and or any contractual commercial terms
  • Work with the senior leadership team and departmental management to develop the operations department and implement processes/procedures to ensure continuous improvement and enable Biosite’s business growth.
  • Both Nationwide UK & International travel may be required as per the business needs.
  • Maintaining exemplary standards to build rapport with customers
  • Carrying out disciplinary procedures as per the agreed HR process
  • Adherence to Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations

Key working relationships (internal and external)

 

  • Reporting to the Head of Service.
  • Working with the commercial and sales team to ensure customer requirements are met and understood.
  • Liaising with the key account sales managers to gather scope and raise variations where required.
  • Liaise with the internal software and product team to discuss requirements, developments, and strategies to ensure client satisfaction in line with contractual obligations.
  • Liaising with other trades on site to ensure installations are able to be completed on time, in budget and in line with contractual requirements.
  • Rapport building and listening to clients’ needs and adapting to changes.

 

 

Person Profile: Essential qualifications, experience, knowledge, and behaviours

 

  • Well-organised, punctual and self-disciplined.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, internally and externally, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive and efficient problem solver with the ability to take a holistic view of the business and customer needs to ensure appropriate decisions are made. 
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ethical and trustworthy
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times and represent the Biosite and ASSA ABLOY brands in line with the code of conduct.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and a valid Passport is essential.
  • A clean standard DBS check for security.

 

 

Desirable

 

  • Strong construction industry knowledge
  • Computer literacy and understanding of PC hardware & software including but not limited to MS Project, excel, word, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • A good understanding of electrical wiring and equipment
  • A good understanding of networking and routing
  • Valid CSCS/ECS Gold Card is preferable
  • Experience of engaging with customers in a high-pressured environment
  • SMSTS/SSSTS
  • IOSH Managing Safely
