What you would do as our Senior Accountant:
You would play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity of our operations. You would collaborate closely with our finance team to maintain accurate and timely financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to the overall success of our financial operations.

 

You would also:

  • Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements, reports, and records, as well as assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare VAT and other tax calculations for authorities, in collaboration with an external accounting firm and manage the administration budget for local entities.
  • Oversee statutory reporting for legal entities within ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Norway, supported by an external accounting firm.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Director for the Nordics on the year-end audit process with external auditors.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.

 

The skills and experience you need:
We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or has equivalent proven experience.
  • Is professionally fluent in both Norwegian and English.
  • Has strong knowledge of Excel and is proficient in using SAP, AX, and HFM.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Shows attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, flexibility, and is a motivated team player.
