Summary
Provide technical support and repair services on Evolis products to partners and end customers
As our Technical Specialist, you’ll support HID’s success by:
Technical Support
- Provide technical support (assistance and advising) to end users, partners, and subsidiaries throughout the year while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Technically assist internal services with Evolis products
- Self-train on Evolis products / own-brand products as well as operating systems like Linux, Windows, Mac, etc.
- Report product issues encountered to the Engineering Department to improve quality
- Participate in the development of products (Software, Hardware) to share a customer/technical perspective
- Create and provide technical documentation/information related to support
- Conduct preventive call campaigns or client visits to analyse their support
After-Sales Service
- Validate and receive RMA returns
- Apply the warranty and repair products and spare parts returned for after-sales service
- Prepare and send reports, quotes, credits and ensure liaison with the commercial department and technical support
- Report to R&D department on product issues encountered to improve Evolis product quality
- Technically assist internal services with Evolis products
Responsibilities
- Good customer satisfaction by providing technical support and repair
- Product improvement by reporting issue to R&D
- Improvement of technical skills transferred to customers and internal services
- Communication and support with Evolis HQ/Evolis China Office
- Preparation of logistics for internal, client training
Your Experience and Background
- Diploma or Degree in computing technology or similar
- 2-year minimum experience of After-Sales Service/Technical Support and/or Systems Industries
- 2-year minimum experience of supporting and interfacing with a sales team
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as “Junior Technical Specialist”
Required Technical Skills
- Good level of English (writing and oral) and Chinese (oral)
- Competencies in computing hardware, software, network, programming
- Competencies in Windows, Macintosh, Microsoft office...
- Synthesize technical data for writing documents or report
- Establish usage, commissioning, disassembly, or maintenance recommendations and advice
- Mechanical, electronic knowledge

Work Requirements

- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
