About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Junior Inside Sales Executive to support our growing sales team. This hybrid role combines inside sales responsibilities with sales administrative support, making it ideal for someone early in their sales career who enjoys customer interaction while ensuring smooth operational processes.
You will play a key role in responding to customers, supporting senior sales staff, and keeping our sales operations running efficiently.
What You Will Do
Inside Sales Responsibilities (~60%)
- Assist senior sales in preparing, updating and submitting quotations, sales documents and proposals to customers.
- Maintain early-stage pipeline and opportunity records in the CRM.
- Support and maintain small, transactional, or repeat-order accounts including walk-in with priority to identify and channel possible leads to senior sales.
- Provide basic product information, pricing guidance, and simple demos to customers.
- Support senior sales in appointment schedule, preparation, minutes, demos and follow ups.
- Understand customer requirements related to mechanical locks, digital locks, credential systems, access readers, controllers, and other solutions.
- Qualify leads from inbound channels, marketing campaigns, distributors, and integrator partners.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to engage prospects in the security locking and access control sector.
Sales Administrative Support (~40%)
- Coordinate with customer service and logistics team from customer orders to ERP sales orders.
- Update and maintain CRM records, customer databases, and sales dashboards.
- Coordinate with product, finance, and technical support teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
- Manage customer enquiries related to availability, pricing, lead times, delivery, or documentation.
- Assist senior sales in price list generation, distribution and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for file management, documentation, and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or customer service.
- Experience in security technology, hardware, or construction/MEP is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities.
- Willingness to learn technical products (training will be provided).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Interest in technology, IoT, security hardware, or access control systems.
- Ability to understand basic technical drawings and product configurations.
- Experience supporting channel partners or project-based sales.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
