Finance Manager Singapore & Regional Controller SEA

The Emerging Markets Business Area of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is growing, and we are now looking for someone to take on a dual role as the Finance Manager for our Singaporean entity as well as the Regional Controller for Southeast Asia. About the role

As the Finance Manager for our legal entity in Singapore you will be responsible for all finance-related activities and workstreams in the entity, and you will support the Business Unit manager in improving the financial performance of the business unit. Among your responsibilities will be the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting cycles, financial analysis and suggesting/implementing corrective actions, forecasting and budgeting, maintaining and improving internal controls and compliance, cash collection and inventory and other working capital management.

Additionally, as a Regional Controller within Business area Emerging Markets, you will work with a wide area of responsibilities on a regional scale. The region currently consists of business units in three countries, with potential expansions to additional markets in the future. You will act as the next-level finance counterpart for our local finance organizations with regards to reporting, forecasting, budget, internal control and compliance. You will also be responsible for the consolidation of the region and work closely with the Regional Manager of SEA in preparations of business reviews, strategy, budgets, business cases, etc.

About you

In order to be successful in this role, we believe that you have 3-5 years of working experience in a similar role within a stock-listed corporation or other entity that adheres to a similar financial reporting schedule. You hold a university degree in Finance or Accounting and you are detail oriented and thorough in your work, but also able to see the bigger picture and prioritize the most impactful activities. You are highly proficient in Excel and you have a good understanding of ERP:s and Financial Consolidation and Reporting Software such as Hyperion Financial Management or OneStream. Experience at an international auditing firm and of ERP-implementations will be considered meritorious. A good

understanding of IFRS and Singaporean accounting standards will also be required.

As a person, you need to be a proactive self-starter with a high drive, who is also resilient and works well under pressure. You can effectively navigate different business environments, and you are able to cooperate effectively with people across different cultures. You are fluent in English both in writing and talking.
