Showroom Sales Representative (Kenya)

Purpose of the role:

 

The role is designed to coordinate all activities of retail sales in the ASSA ABLOY showroom ensuring that walk-in customers and potential buyers get details, features and general product information.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

These will include the following but not limited to:-

 

  • Provide customer service assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints as well as educating customers about terminology, features and benefits of products to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Process customer orders, quotes, queries, complaints, and concerns in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner using company pricing system and policies ensuring that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
  • Examine merchandise in stock and on display to ensure that it is correctly priced, labelled and displayed and that it functions well.
  • Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level.
  • Examine products purchased for resale or received for storage to assess the condition of each product or item.
  • Ensure that payments from all transactions received are banked and advises remitted to the main branch in a timely manner where required.
  • Confer with company officials to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
  • Estimate consumer demand and determine the types and amounts of goods to be sold.
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure the showroom is well equipped and ready to meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Any other role as maybe assigned by the management.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Minium Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business management or any other business-related course
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in showroom sales environment
  • Proficient in MS office and Microsoft dynamics (business central) applications.
  • Inventory management experience will be an added advantage.
