Software Product Owner

Position summary - We are looking for a Software Product Owner to organize, prioritize and assess work for our scrum team. Product Owner responsibilities include gathering feature requests, scheduling releases and coordinating sprints. To be successful in this role, you should be able to identify user needs and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. Ultimately, you’ll help us roll-out products that deliver our company’s vision.

 

Reports TO – Senior Software Product Owner

TEAM STRUCTURE – Report Senior PO who reports to SW Platform & Projects Director, has other PO as peers,  belong innovation team, internally work close to developing team, externally product marketing team from different regions,, etc.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project

  • Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, customer need, and technical feasibility.

  • Groom and clarify backlog requirements by writing user stories and define acceptance criteria, etc.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, QA, etc.) to ensure a smooth and efficient product development process.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product requirements and expectations.

  • Monitor and report on key product metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization and implement by .

  • Lead product discovery sessions, defining new features and functionality based on market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.

  • Work with team to support release train to make sure product releases are on time and meet quality standards.

 

 

SELECTION CRITERIA, RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES – (For the role, specify relevant knowledge, competencies and experience that is needed, e.g: Educational background, technical skills, technological knowledge - details of relevant experience, - skills required for the role, -most relevant leadership dimensions)
Must Have: 

•    Bachelor's or above degree in Science and Engineering, or a related field.
•    5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
•    Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
•    Excellent communication skills, able to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse stakeholders.
•    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong teamwork ability and organizational skills.
•    Ability to work independently and autonomously, with strong self-motivation and initiative.

•    Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
•    Passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly products that meet the needs of customers and stakeholders.
•    Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, SaFE, etc.).
•    Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
•    Fluent in English for both reading and writing

 

Preferred to have:

•    Experience with IOT industry
•    International experience preferred
