Sales Manager
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage the assigned sales territory in Mainland China.
· Actively identify and pursue new customers within AAGS target markets.
· Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
· Build relationships through regular visits to customers and prospects.
· Follow up on leads, close sales opportunities, and provide technical support.
· Achieve sales targets (revenue, profit, and expenses).
· Meet key performance metrics (e.g., customer visits, prospect visits, and project activities).
· Deliver professional sales presentations and successfully close deals.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce (customer activities, pipeline, and market intelligence).
· Respond promptly to internal and external communications.
· Travel to shipyards, end-user locations, ship designers, and turnkey suppliers as required.
· Provide feedback on market trends, competition, and pricing strategies.
· Share insights on industry developments and technical advancements.
· Provide regular updates and forecasts to management in line with AAGS processes.
· Participate in scheduled sales meetings and conference calls.
· Manage and strengthen collaboration with the sole agent in Mainland China, including pricing, project coordination, and market development.
· Prepare and send quotations for both AMS and project opportunities.
· Generate leads through proactive prospecting and follow-up activities.
· Support administrative tasks, including reporting and documentation.
· Collaborate with internal teams to prepare professional customer presentations and proposals.
Essential Qualifications - Education, Experience & Skills:
· A degree in engineering, business, or a related field is advantageous, however; relevant practical experience is equally valued.
· Proven experience in field sales or a similar role.
· Ability and willingness to travel.
· Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (written and verbal).
· Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
· Professional, respectful, and customer-focused attitude.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
· Experience using sales tools for customer management and reporting is an advantage.
· Knowledge or experience in the marine sector is a plus.
· Experience in administrative or coordination roles is beneficial.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
· Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
