Position Summary

ASSA ABLOY is looking for a candidate for the position of Executive -Sourcing, based out of China to handle relationships with ENOX suppliers based out of China The role involves working in close coordination with the Product Management Team and SCM manager to drive procurement excellence, strategic relationship with key suppliers and achieve the targets on cost, quality and delivery. The position will also help in NPI /CPI projects from a sourcing perspective.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Elevate relationships with suppliers and drive procurement excellence.
• Assist in negotiating prices, payment terms, lead times to achieve leadership in cost, quality and delivery.
• Organize Samples and assist in finding suppliers based out of China for new products with inputs from Product Management and Supply Chain based in India
• Extend supplier base by identifying new suppliers for new and existing products
• Help in identifying suppliers who can work with the Product Management team and drive cost reduction through sourcing from China.
• Provide support in the timely launch of new products.
• Work in coordination with Rita Zhang and elevate the ENOX supplier base as EMEAI suppliers for relevant product categories

Skills Required:

• Knowledge in Hardware industry is essential
• Collaborative with good communication skills and fluency in both Chinese and English
• Good coordination skills
• Good negotiating ability and commercial acumen
• Integrity and proven track record in managing procurement activities for Multinational companies in China ­­­­­­­

Education Qualification & Experience required:

• Graduate degree preferably in technical stream/ engineering, MBA will be an added advantage
• Min 8 to 10 years previous total experience, with strong exposure to Architectural Hardware activity
