Industrial Planning Manager



Roles and responsibilities

  1. Coordinate Manufacturing Footprint Programs (MFP) in GCSEA
    1. Facilitate application process for MFP project proposals from various parties within GCSEA Division
    2. Review and follow up each approved MFP project progress regularly
    3. Report MFP progress, stats to Group Centre regularly
    4. Prepare updated MFP program requirements and guidelines for project teams
    5. Provide trainings to project team members on demand
  2. Manage VA/VE program in GCSEA
    1. Review plans and targets for each manufacturing entity in GCSEA
    2. Set up actions plans with local leaders and project teams to achieve targets
    3. Initiate workshops and provide trainings to local teams to identify savings opportunities and help develop local leaders
    4. Communicate with local leaders to follow up and review progress of ongoing VA/VE projects
    5. Promote VA/VE methodology by facilitating cooperation and best practice sharing among different entities
    6. Evaluate local leaders and provide certification based on their capabilities


Experiences required

  1. Bachelor’s degree (preferably master’s degree) with Engineering background
  2. Min. 3-year experiences in operations position and project management
  3. Experience from a multi-cultural work environment is desired
  4. Experience and knowledge in materials, manufacturing, and product design
  5. Experience and good understanding/knowledge in Finance & Accounting

  2. Highest level of integrity
  3. High interested to communicate with people, to take on new tasks and to acquire new knowledge and skills
  4. Strong team player, collaborative working style with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  5. Structured and organized with strong analytical and logical-mathematical skills
  6. Strong capabilities in computer applications, specifically but not limited to Excel and PowerPoint
  7. Self-initiative, task-oriented, committed to deadlines
