Accounting Manager

This is a key position for Finance team, who will lead whole accounting team to handle accounting included but not limited Account Receivable, Account Payable, Fixed assets, General Ledger, taxation, bank, internal Control…, and creating KPIs to monitor trading company performance.

RESPONSIBILITY:   

1. Accountability of the monthly Financial Statements Closing (Local GAAP, IFRS and its bridge) and the preparation of the External Reporting in all its components, both IFRS and Local GAAP
2. Lead accounting team to establish a robust accounting process, procedure & policy, variance analysis as well as creating KPIs to monitor trading company performance.
3. Review Journal entries / Reconciliation- ensure the reconciliations and non-recurring entries follow company GAAP and police. Validates the business case for complex entries and prepares high level dashboard for management review.
4. Managing payroll accounting and tax declarations- Review/approve and release payroll related payments to the employees across China. Keep on top of any tax reform in China to ensure no compliance issue from China entities.
5. Work closely with plant Finance team to review inventory price, PPV, transfer price.
6. Ensure ERP program is thoroughly implemented in the finance functions and develop standard reporting in local ERP to track and monitor factories’ performance.
7. Cultivate strong working relationships within business teams and Finance teams.
8. Team build up and talent improvement.
9. Lead ad hoc projects as required.
10. Lead with a strong compliance and integrity mindset.

REQUIREMENTS:      

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Business Administration;
2. At least 10 years’ experience in different Finance positions and accounting experience is mandatory.
3. Process management skills.
4. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
5. Excellent communication skills within multi-national/ multi-layer team as well as a moderator.
6. Mature operation skills of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.);
7. Fluent in spoken and written English/Chinese.
