With a large Microsoft Dynamics programme on going and more divisional IT applications to come ASSA ABLOY APAC is looking to recruit an experienced Dynamics AX Technical Manager to join the internal application team working on designing, developing and testing the divisional ERP application portfolio based on Dynamics AX.

The ASSA ABLOY Dynamics programme is one of the largest in the world and offers plenty of challenges and opportunities for the right candidate.

APAC Division has implemented AX 2012 R3 since 2013 and we are now embarking on upgrading to D365 Finance and Operations as the next version.  As part of the Dynamics implementation integrations to several other systems have also been implemented (E-Commerce, Warehouse Automation, Data warehouse, BI, Banking, Barcode scanning etc.).

The Dynamics Technical Manager will become member of an internal application team of skilled Dynamics resources working together with external partners to design, develop and implement the APAC solution.

The Dynamics Technical Manager will report to the APAC ERP Applications Director.

 

The Dynamics Technical Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overall technical design, development and troubleshooting of the Microsoft Dynamics 2012 R3 platform with related 3rd party tools
  • Coding standards, code reviews and deployment
  • Maintain complete technical documentation of the ERP server environment and integration with other systems
  • Technology upgrade and special projects such as archiving solutions, migration to new tools
  • SQL Database Administration, Performance tuning and continuous implementation of Enterprise features and functions to upscale the platform
  • Change and release management.
  • Working with Application teams and external partners on designing and testing AX and integrated systems
  • External consultancy partners management to ensure quality development work and follow project governance
  • Technical management of D365 ERP upgrade project following Microsoft LC

  • e-Commerce, EDI, Intercompany trade systems
  • Integrations between divisional and global or local systems
  • Dynamics 365 Sales with integrations with to AX 2012 as well as Azure Platform involving Azure Web Apps, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Virtual Machines and storage.

 

Requirement:

  • Highly experienced Dynamics professional with extensive knowledge about the AX application and system integrations in a large multi-site ERP environment using all core modules. 
  • Advanced knowledge of latest deployments of Dynamics on the cloud and experience with developing on the Azure platform.
  • Deep experience with developing Dynamics AX modifications and integrations in a controlled environment with high requirements for documentation, processes and stability.
  • Experience with .NET, BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and deep skills in MS-SQL is a must.
  • Experience with AX 2012 R3 is a minimum requirement. Experience of Dynamics 365 and cloud implementations would be a major advantage as the company has started a project to upgrade to D365.
  • Must be good at organising own work, following processes and documenting.  Clear in communication and reporting and fluent in English writing and speaking.  Must be able to conduct conferences onsite and online with business users to negotiate requirements, conduct training and support testing. Mandarin speaking is also a plus.
  • Travel can be required at a level of a couple of days per month.
