We are currently recruiting for a Software Engineer to join our team here in Basingstoke 

 

The qualified candidate will work with project managers/ technical leads in requirement collection, systems analysis and design for implementation activities

As our Software Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:

 

  • Work with Project Manager/Technical Lead in requirement collection, systems analysis and design for implementation activities
  • Perform project and product implementation including program coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and user support for electronic or mobile identity systems of our potential and existing customers local and worldwide.
  • Product development in related to
    • Systems involve National CA/PKI, cryptographic and biometric technology especially working with HSM
    • Develop software for Key Management System, ICAO Data Preparation system and chip personalization with Native OS and Javacard OS.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support on ad-hoc tasks

Your Qualifications and Experience include: 

 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in software development and project implementation;
  • eID, ePassport, eSignature and smartcard application development experience would be an advantage.

 

Work Requirements :

 

  • Must be legally eligible to work in United Kingdom. 
  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems. 
  • Travel and fieldwork including international travel; therefore, employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be willing to spend a percentage of time travelling internationally.
