What would you do as our Field Technician
Reporting to the Italy Country Manager and the Regional Technical Director of Traka South Europe, you will join a growing Italian team, gaining deep expertise in Traka key-management systems and playing a strategic role in consolidating the launch and growth of Traka’s brand-new Italian branch, directly contributing to customer success. This position is a field-based role, with frequent travels across Italy (~ 70%).
You would also be responsible for:
- Reviewing and preparing Traka equipment prior to delivery.
- Performing preliminary electrical installations on customer sites and train end-users on the Traka application and best-practice workflows.
- Installing and commissioning key cabinets and locker systems and assisting with software installation & configuration, ensuring seamless integration
- Delivering exceptional customer support by diagnosing and resolving incidents, including performing on-site repairs and component replacements.
- Continuously upskill, staying at the forefront of Traka product developments.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a technical qualification in Electricity/Electronics (FP II / Diploma or higher), or equivalent relevant hands-on experience in electronic and mechanical assembly.
- Is willing to travel across Italy, has a valid driving license and excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
- Has dynamic and curious personality, able to collaborate in cross-functional teams with a highly professional attitude.
- Is self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Has IT knowledge for user/support level and a valid Workplace Safety certificate (Electrical or Construction) are a strong plus.
