Business Developer PEU

 

This individual will be responsible for the performance and development of the Professional End Users segment in the Italian market and will ensure that growth, profit, and sales targets are met in line with the overall business plan.

Main resposabilities and activities for this role are:

•    Collaborate with the DAS Business Development Manager to define and implement effective market development and consolidation strategies.
•    Develop product, pricing, and commercial strategies in alignment with company management.
•    Identify and prioritize key business opportunities.
•    Generate new business through various lead generation methods, including cold calling, in-person visits, and nurturing existing client relationships.
•    Manage the entire sales cycle — from prospecting to closing deals and ensuring successful implementation — with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
•    Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor and technology trends to identify new opportunities.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
•    Represent the company at trade shows and industry associations.
•    Organize and deliver product demonstrations.
•    Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline.

Qualifications/technical skills required are:

•    Strong sales and technical skills.
•    A true “hunter” mindset with the ability to identify, initiate, and drive new business opportunities.
•    Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative and positive approach.
•    Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to executive decision-makers.
•    Team-oriented, with the ability to express and share ideas constructively.
•    Strategic and analytical thinking, with a data-driven approach to overcoming sales challenges.
•    Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales or business development within a multinational environment.
•    Proven track record in proposing and negotiating high-tech, value-added solutions tailored to complex customer needs.

•    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and logical.
•    Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
•    Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
•    Native Italian speaker with at least B2 level proficiency in English.
•    Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
