We are currently seeking a Sales Manager West for the United States West areas to manage our Valli&Valli & Fusital brands with a focus on construction projects and retail showroom markets. 

 

JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Manager West will be responsible for generating sustainable growth throughout the area by developing new and existing distributors to promote and sell our door levers and accessories. They will report directly to the Head of US and collaborate with Sales Team to develop sales, marketing and pricing strategies for current clients as well as evaluate new business opportunities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Foster and maintain strong relationships with our existing customer base and distribution network
•    Develop plans on how to establish and maintain account relationships and develop a business plan for each account resulting in increased sales
•    Analyze the market and identify new potential clients/distributors/projects and business opportunities, through new products and new initiatives in collaboration with the Head of US
•    Establish strong relationships with the Key Stakeholders in the construction industry, like architects, business developers, contractors, and project consultants
•    Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reporting 
•    Identify service gaps and develop and execute a strategy for improvement and success
•    Generate sales per assigned accounts that meet and exceed budget plans
•    Generate and follow-up on quotes and leads 
•    Provide or coordinate one-on-one or group training as required
•    Work collaboratively with other team members in alignment with End Users, architects and specification objectives
•    Other projects as assigned
 
REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
•    Proven ability to negotiate, lead sales and deliver exceptional results 
•    Essential skills should include: planning, selling, marketing, decision-making and creative problem solving 
•    Preferred knowledge of design and construction industry
•    Commitment and passion
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven success in working for multicultural environments
•    Native English speaker, Italian is a plus
•    Computer skills including MS Office Suite incl. Power Point, Outlook and Video Conferencing tools
•    Available to travel extensively across US with specific focus on the West Coast 
•    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sales presentations
•    Proven track record of building strong business relationships with customers
•    Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and identify sales opportunities, troubleshoot and resolve issues

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•    Minimum of five (5) years sales experience, preferably in the door openings or related industry
•    Post-Secondary education in a related field
