Position Summary: In this role you will use magnification to put small pieces into circuit boards and products.  Check quality on each piece for function and workmanship.  The position is on first shift, 7:30am-3:30pm with overtime as necessary.


Essential Functions:

  • Assemble in the electronics line/one-piece flow environment.  Perform assembly as product moves down the line.
  • Meet quality standards, on time delivery, and continually improve productivity to exceed customer expectations. 
  • Participate in team meetings to improve teams performance, solve problems, improve safety and 5S
  • Must be able to meet or exceed performance measures based upon standards set.
  • Perform any additional duties required to assure smooth operation of product centers and support areas.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Overtime will be required.          


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Basic math and computer skills
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Small piece assembly experience preferred, but training is available.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills
  • Must be able to comply with attendance policy


Physical Requirements:


  • Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see pieces/parts on a circuit board and other small internal workings of the product.  Must be able to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.   
  • Interpret and understand drawings and blueprints as instructions to perform operations.
  • Focus and use magnification equipment to assemble product. 
  • Ability to use or learn to use soldering equipment.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach.
  • Ability to stabilize parts and move proper parts into place on the product.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
