SAP Basis Administrator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing our SAP ECC environment, maintaining add-on software tools, and handling SAP integration and SaaS connections for boundary applications like banks and TMS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Basis administration, experience with relevant add-ons, and a good understanding of SAP integration and SaaS connections.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
SAP Basis Administration: (35%)
- Manage and maintain SAP ECC systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform system installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
- Conduct regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Add-Ons Management: (15%)
- Administer and maintain add-on software tools
- Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of these add-ons within the SAP landscape.
- Collaborate with functional teams to address and resolve issues related to add-ons.
SAP Integration: (20%)
- Manage SAP integration with various boundary applications, including banks and TMS systems.
- Ensure robust and secure data exchanges between SAP and external systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
SaaS Connections: (10%)
- Implement and manage SaaS connections for boundary applications, ensuring seamless integration with SAP.
- Work with vendors and external partners to maintain and optimize these connections.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for data security and privacy.
Collaboration and Support: (20%)
- Work closely with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and support of SAP solutions and add-ons.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in SAP projects, including system enhancements, migrations, and new implementations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.
- Proven experience with SAP ECC and add-ons installation and Maintenance
- Strong understanding of SAP integration and SaaS connections with boundary applications.
- Hands-on experience with SAAS installations and Maintenance.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proven experience with IBM AIX and RHEL system administration and Sybase ASE database administration for SAP: installation, patching, performance optimization, backup/restore, and high availability configurations.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP certification in Basis.
- Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools.

Work Environment:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Hybrid work in office 3 days/week.
Pay Range: $107,227-$168,500.
This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
