We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager based in Brazil to drive growth across the commercial and public biometric market. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role, responsible for managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—while expanding our presence in key verticals.
The ideal candidate is a hunter with strong execution discipline, proven in delivering revenue growth in Brazil. Experience in biometric solutions (fingerprint, facial recognition, and authentication technologies) is highly preferred, along with a solid understanding of retail, hospitality, public and digital identity ecosystems.

As our Regional Sales Manager, Biometrics Brazil, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Owning and managing the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets.
- Developing and executing a Brazil-focused go-to-market strategy for commercial biometric solutions.
- Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities across target verticals (retail, hospitality, fintech, and enterprise).
- Driving customer engagement and value-based selling, positioning biometric and identity solutions aligned to client needs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders in the Brazilian market.
- Collaborating cross-functionally (pre-sales, product, operations) to ensure successful deal execution and delivery.
- Developing and expanding channel and ISV partnerships to accelerate market reach and scalability.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting through CRM tools.
- Providing market insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
- Leading and managing end-to-end government sales cycles, including RFPs, RFIs, bids, and tenders
- Developing and executing account strategies for:
- Federal, state, and municipal agencies (e.g., DMV, Civil ID, Law Enforcement, Border Control)
- Engaging with key decision-makers:
- Government authorities, procurement officers, and technical committees
- Positioning solutions for national ID, digital identity, voter registration, border management, and public safety programs
- Navigating and ensuring compliance with Brazilian public procurement frameworks (e.g., bidding laws, formal tender processes)
- Building and managing relationships with local system integrators (SIs) and partners required for public sector delivery
Your Experience and Background include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated success in complex solution selling and strategic account management.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate technology into business value.
- 10+ years of sales experience, with a strong track record in Brazil.
- Proven success in quota attainment and revenue growth in technology or security solutions.
- Experience in biometrics, identity, or authentication solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong hunter mindset, with the ability to open new accounts and drive new business.
- Deep understanding of the Brazilian market dynamics, including commercial and public sector landscapes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with partners, system integrators, and ISVs.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/field-based role.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Willingness to travel across Brazil ~50% (and selectively internationally).
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to present information to management and public groups as a “speaker”.
