System Engineer

Salary: up to €45,000 (depending on experience).

 

What you would do as our Systems Engineer
Reporting to the relevant technical or sales leadership, you will act as a key technical point of contact between customers, the Sales team, and internal stakeholders. You will contribute across the full project lifecycle, combining consultative pre-sales with hands-on implementation and assist.

 

You would also be responsible for:
• Assisting the Sales team in gathering customer requirements and designing tailored access control and security solutions.
• Delivering technical presentations, demos, workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and preparing documentation (RFPs/RFIs).
• Assisting system configuration, deployment, and integration with third-party systems (e.g., IT, VMS, IAM).
• Providing technical training and advanced troubleshooting assist (2nd/3rd level) to customers and partners.
• Cooperating with Product and Engineering teams by collecting field feedback to improve solutions and drive innovation.

 

The skills and experience you need 
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or 3–5 years equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or similar roles.
• Demonstrates solid knowledge of network architecture (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, cloud, hybrid, wireless, IoT) and client-server environments.
• Has a good aware of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS) and cybersecurity concepts (firewalls, SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection).
• Is familiar with system integration protocols and standards such as REST APIs, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT, and JSON/XML.
• Brings experience or exposure to access control, system integration, or physical security solutions (CCTV, intrusion detection), which is considered an advantage.

 

Moreover, the ideal candidate can communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders and demonstrates a strong customer-oriented, consultative mindset. They are able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value while showing solid problem-solving skills and a high level of autonomy. They are also willing to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
