Customer Service Rep/Order Entry/Estimator - Glass Solutions

General Description: The ideal candidate will be an initiative-taking individual with an outgoing personality. CSR/OE is responsible for ensuring that each customer/DSS receives outstanding customer service by providing a friendly environment and educating the customer so that they can make an informed purchase. The CSR/OE will develop and maintain a solid product knowledge and delivery requirements that meet the customer’s expectations and production’s capabilities. The position will need to interpret and enter Glass Solutions orders. The CSR/OE position will work on other assigned tasks that may include Rockwood/McKinney order entry and customer service. This is an onsite in-office position.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones
  • Taking/entering orders
  • Educating customers about product and web site
  • Answering customer questions
  • Recommending products
  • Expediting customer orders
  • Tracking shipments
  • Solving customer issues
  • Estimating costs for customers

 

Job Requirements:

  • Genuinely positive and enthusiastic
  • Taking pride in personal performance
  • 2 or 4-Year Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing a plus
  • Experience in customer service a plus
  • Data entry skills
  • Strong proficiency in keyboarding and internet navigation
  • Literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong work ethic and efficient at tasks
  • Consistent attendance necessary
