Job Summary:

The Strategic Project Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, requiring exceptional collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the highest standards of internal project delivery excellence through meticulous methodology, tracking, and documentation. By aligning project execution with implementation standards and schedules, the Strategic Project Manager drives the successful realization of projects from inception to completion. The department is dedicated to supporting our new processes leveraging data and analytics to monitor and align business performance through data driven decisions, and in some key areas implementing processes aimed at minimizing payment delinquencies and their associated factors. The role's significance extends beyond project completion, as meticulous post-project documentation forms the foundation for ongoing role development, departmental growth, and overall business advancement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to align all stakeholders and customers with any new associated processes and practices pre and post deployment.

 

  • Business Model Innovation: Assess and reimagine current business models (Q2C) to emphasize SaaS and recurring revenue, specifically tailored for our product offerings that are used within the hospitality and vertical markets. Assist with development input for SAP/S4 to accommodate business models and business practices.

 

  • Program Development: Design and implement programs that will facilitate the end-to-end transition of selling, servicing, and supporting certain product offerings in a recurring revenue model offering.

 

  • Financial: Aid in developing pricing models that balance customer attraction with profitable recurring revenue streams. Proactively identify and eliminate barriers to payment for recurring revenue invoices, reducing backlogs of non-paying customers.

 

  • Business Processes: Develop and refine business processes to facilitate the successful implementation of new models, ensuring cross-departmental alignment and support for new operational methods.

 

  • Process Optimization Projects: Innovating and streamlining processes across various departments to drive operational efficiencies and effectiveness. Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and champion the successful execution of process enhancements.

 

  • Business Expansion and Integration: Overseeing the seamless onboarding of external solutions resulting from our business expansion initiatives. Manage the project lifecycle from planning to execution, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with our overarching objectives.

 

  • Initiative Management: Orchestrating the seamless execution of a diverse range of internal initiatives, encompassing varying sizes and scopes across different departments to address their specific needs. Your adept coordination will involve liaising with cross-functional teams, aligning their efforts towards achieving the initiative's objectives.

 

Functional skill requirements:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze business environments and understand financial implications. Extensive knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Leadership and Strategic Thinking: Proven leadership skills with a strategic mindset to envision and drive business transformations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills to articulate complex models and persuade various stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Core Skills: Exceptional collaborative skills, exceptional organizational skills, exceptional time management skills, adept ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, excellent written and verbal communication skills, risk mitigation and decision-making skills, experience developing, improving, and documenting workflows, must be solutions oriented and have sound decision making ability, great interpersonal skills and culture fit.

 

Education and/or work experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • PMP or ITIL certification required.
  • Lean Six Sigma process accreditation preferred.
