We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on front-end development to join our team. 

This role will be instrumental in building a new, modern web application using contemporary technologies and frameworks.

 

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver a secure, scalable, and high-performing solution aligned with HID standards.

Essential Duties

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
  • Maintain security and compliance standards in all web development activities.

 

Primary Duties

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
  • Maintain security and compliance standards in all web development activities.

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in web application development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of .NET C# language backend coding
  • Familiarity with security best practices for web applications.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of AI-assisted coding tools and code reviews.

 

Work Requirements

  • Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
  • Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
