Regional Sales Manager

 

Summary 
The Regional Sales Manager role reports to the Sales Leader of Commercial Authentication. Primary responsibilities are to protect and grow HID Commercial Authentication footprint within the HID install base, and growth through new customer acquisition, and to strengthen product selection policies through strategic planning and relationship building with HID Soloution Resellers within their specified region. 
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible to sell Cybers Security (Authentication) software and hardware solutions, credentials, and card technology, and will develop and execute a business plan to grow the territory through established relationships, working with our channel partners and when appropriate recruiting System Integrators in addition to developing new relationships. 
The Regional Sales Manager must effectively identify and develop opportrunity with End-users positioning and specifying HID’s products
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
•    Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
•    Continually build and grow a robust sales pipeline
•    Successfully manage all aspects of sales process
•    Maintain an updated and accurate forecast in CRM (Salesforce.com)
•    Develop and execute a comprehensive regional business plan
•    Identify, recruit, onboard and train new Channel Partners (reseller, system integrator, VAR)
•    Organize and maintain monthly business reviews with key partners for increased productivity, enhanced services, and sales/revenue visibility
•    Manage channel partners relevant to the Commercial Authentication Segment, within the framework of the HID’s Advantage Partner Program (APP). 
•    Work closely with Marketing and Product marketing teams
•    Work closely with pre-sales & post sales teams
•    Support Inside Sales, Customers Service and Renewal Sales team as necessary

Qualifications

•    5-10 years exceeding sales quota as a Regional Sales Manager for a technology vendor. Preferably in the, Cybersecurity, Authentication, Identity Access & Management or Enterprise Software space.
•    BS/BA degree or equivalent plus relevant work experience
•    Possess a track record of developing new business and growing a territory
•    Exceptional interpersonal communication skills specific to field sales presentations and software demonstrations
•    Self-motivated with superb organizational skills
•    Extensive network of customers and advocates in market

Education and/or Experience   
•    BS/BA degree or equivalent education plus relevant industry work experience.  
•    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cybersecurity, Authentication, Identity Access & Management or Enterprise Software
Language Skills                   
•    Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
•    Ability to effectively communicate in the German language, both verbally and in writing
•    Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc. in English and German    

Computer Skills     
•    Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
•    Proficient with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
•    Proficient with CRM software such as Salesforce.com

•    Employee works primarily in a home office environment.
•    The home office must be a well-defined work area, separate from normal domestic activity and complete with all essential technology including, but not limited to; separate phone, scanner, printer, computer, etc. as required in order to effectively perform their duties.

Work Requirements
•    Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
•    Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
•    Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.   
•    Must reside in territory; DACH / East Europe with good access to travel network (Air / Rail)
