HID Global's Identification Technologies Business Area seeks an experienced and results-driven EMEA Sales Manager to drive sales and growth focusing on our Textile Services business. 

This role is centered mainly on winning new accounts while also pro-actively managing and growing existing accounts. Focus will be on scaling HID Acuity, the RFID-based linen management solution, and linen RFID tag business. Target customers are across hospitality, industrial laundry, and linen supplier segments.

 

The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to the global Textile Services business development strategy working with key ecosystem integrators and partners.

Essential Duties

  • Actively build sales pipeline of potential customers primarily with Hospitality, Linen Supplier, and Industrial Laundry verticals.
  • Developing new opportunities in current accounts.
  • Collaborate with HID leadership, regional sales, product management, and marketing to suggest and implement opportunities for growth.
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline and close business against defined quota (personal overall including regional teams).
  • Represent the company at trade shows and events and to partners including the preparation and execution of speaking sessions as needed.
  • Provide competitive analytics for current and future requirements to the regional sales managers and other interested parties.
  • Review continually the sales results at all levels of the reseller channels you are responsible for, put in place action programs to make good any shortfall against forecasts, for these accounts. 
  • Provide training and business case support to regional sales teams and HID business development.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and forecasts within Salesforce on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by the sales management.

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to build and convert pipeline.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as a natural team spirit.
  • Strong out of the box thinking combined with a hands-on attitude, the ability to manage multiple projects successfully and prioritize well.
  • Achieve a reputation for being a “trusted advisor”.
  • Must possess excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work effectively as a part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to read and anticipate important business or market trends / drivers from journals, specifications, tradeshows, business publications, etc.
  • Responsive to inquiries from customers, (potential) partners, or other business community members.
  • Ability to develop presentations and write content as an industry subject matter expert.
  • Ability to communicate in professional manner with the Sales team, Business Development Team, Product Marketing, and other departments within HID.

 

Education and/or Experience          

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Laundry/Hospitality/Linen business segment required for this role.
  • RFID Sales experience in selling both RFID component and RFID platform products would be a plus.
  • Complex sales methodology training is preferred.
  • Experience in selling into Distributors, VARs, Integrators and direct OEMs.
  • Sales or technical sales degree, or equivalent education plus relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with CRM, Sales and Marketing Automation tools including Salesforce.com, Marketo, and LinkedIn Navigator.
