As our Quality Inspector , you’ll support HID’s success by:

• Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize a variety of inspection techniques, tools, and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual aids to assess product quality.
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, discrepancies, and deviations from quality standards, and document findings accurately.
• Record inspection results, maintain detailed inspection records, and generate comprehensive reports to track quality trends and performance metrics.
• Collaborate closely with production teams, engineers, and suppliers to address quality issues, resolve non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present quality information to management, suppliers and customers as required.

• Excellent attention to detail, observational skills, and the ability to identify subtle defects or deviations in product appearance and dimensions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communications skills in English and the ability to effectively communicate findings and actions.

Education and/or Experience:

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection methods, and statistical process control techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Ideally the candidate will be trained and certified to IPC-A-610 standards
• Candidate should possess a basic knowledge of electronics design principals and electronics manufacturing processes.
