Sales Tendering Specialist
Role Summary:
The Sales Tendering Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process, from reviewing bid documents to submitting high-quality tender responses. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure all submissions meet technical, commercial, and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our industrial product offerings and will be skilled in handling multiple tenders simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze bid documents, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, to understand project requirements, deliverables, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
- Ensure compliance with tender specifications, including technical, commercial, and legal aspects, while identifying and clearly articulating any deviations in the tender bid.
- Raise Pre-Bid Queries and request Timeline Extensions when necessary.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather and compile the required documentation and information for tender responses.
- Prepare and submit high-quality bids within specified deadlines, ensuring full compliance with all tender requirements and documentation standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tender activities, including submission details, results, and feedback.
- Identify and track tender opportunities on various platforms, such as industry-specific portals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our industrial product offerings to effectively position our solutions in tender responses.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for document preparation and data analysis.

- Time Management: Capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate tender responses clearly and effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive in identifying and addressing issues, such as potential tender deviations or project risks.
- Software Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for presentations, and Word for document preparation.
Requirements:
- Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English (both written and verbal). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a tendering role within the industrial sector or a related field. Experience with bid management software and familiarity with tender platforms is an advantage.
