Head Product Marketing - Industrial Products

Role Summary: The Head Product Marketing – Industrial Products is responsible for managing and developing the portfolio of industrial products, including Dock Levelers, Dock Seals, Dock Shelters, High-Speed Doors, Overhead Sectional Doors, Dock Bumpers, and other Dock Accessories. This role involves strategic planning, product development, and market analysis to drive the success of industrial product lines.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  1. Product Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for industrial products.
  • Define product roadmaps and prioritize product development efforts.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to identify growth opportunities.

 

  1. Product Development and Lifecycle Management
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of industrial products from concept to market launch.
  • Define product specifications, features, and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and R&D teams to ensure product quality and innovation.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, including updates and end-of-life decisions.

 

  1. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends in the industrial sector.
  • Analyze competitor products and pricing to develop competitive strategies.
  • Monitor industry developments and adjust product plans accordingly.

 

 

  1. Sales and Marketing Collaboration
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective product marketing strategies.
  • Provide sales training and support for industrial product lines.
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales collateral.

 

  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to gather feedback and insights.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to industrial products.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and support.

 

  1. Financial Management
  • Develop and manage budgets for industrial product lines.
  • Monitor product profitability and cost control.
  • Set pricing strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.

 

  1. Quality and Compliance
  • Ensure that industrial products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality and compliance teams to maintain product certifications.

Requirements:

 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (MBA a plus)

Languages: English (Critical), Hindi (Critical)

Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft CRM tool.

 

Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in product management in the industrial segment.
