As the Supplier Quality Engineer (Operations & Systems) for the Identification Technologies (IDT) Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, part of HID Global,   you are responsible for supplier management, customer complaint to drive continuous improvement, documentation control and system support.

HID Identification Technologies (IDT)

The Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, within IDT, is a global leader in producing standard and custom passive RFID tags and labels for the industry & logistics, healthcare, animal identification, and fueling automation markets. We operate manufacturing sites in Malaysia, China, and the United States.

 

As our Supplier Quality Engineer (Operations & Systems) , you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Supplier quality performance (PPM, SCAR, audits)
  • Customer complaints (8D ownership)
  • ERP quality data (Oracle readiness)
  • ISO9001 documentation & audits
  • Continuous improvement for material supply quality and drive to suitable AQL level inspection
  • Confirm nonconformity materials with team to define select, accept, scrap or return etc.
  • Issue NCR to supplier for corrective action and drive corrective and preventive actions with suppliers for problem solving
  • Suppliers visit for problem solving and periodically audit
  • Supplier quality support to new project development.
  • Document management for system and customer audits
  • KPI reports
  • Customer complaints for Active products and drive corrective and preventive actions within Qingdao factory.
  • ERP system support to Quality team.
  • Other duties as required by Senior SQE & Supply Chain Manager

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

 

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Experience of 3 or more years in supplier development/management
  • PCBA background is preferred.
  • Good capability in Problem solving. Experience in problem solving tools- 8D etc.
  • Good communication/coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Background of plastic, printing and other RFID filed.
