As the Junior Process Engineer for the Identification Technologies (IDT) Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, part of HID Global,   you are responsible for 

Initially undertake manufacturing documentation and basic engineering design under guidance, supporting packaging, production equipment setup, and engineering data management in Oracle EBS and Agile PLM.

The role collaborates with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to support safe, efficient, repeatable processes and production readiness. It is suited to recent graduates or candidates with 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Training, ongoing learning, and practical experience enable progressively greater involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) and process design, with opportunities to develop toward a Process Engineer role.

HID Industrial Smart Components (ISC)

The Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, within IDT, is a global leader in producing standard and custom passive RFID tags and labels for the industry & logistics, healthcare, animal identification, and fueling automation markets. We operate manufacturing sites in Malaysia, China, and the United States.

As our Junior Process Engineer , you'll support HID's success by: 

• Maintain manufacturing engineering data in Oracle EBS and Agile PLM, ensuring data accuracy and revision control.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, routings, setup guides, and related controlled records.
• Support equipment and tooling setup, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting under guidance, and coordinate calibration and maintenance activities.
• Perform basic engineering design tasks under guidance, including preparing and updating drawings for packaging, tooling, and fixtures.
• Through training and hands-on experience, progressively support NPI and process design activities, including process development, pilot builds, and production readiness.

Your Experience and Background include:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Recent graduates and candidates with 0–3 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation and revision control, with willingness to learn manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production technologies.
• English reading and writing required. Spoken English preferred but not essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Experience in RFID, electronics, or industrial manufacturing environments.
