The Marketing Intern for the NAM Marketing department will assist the Marketing Manager in a number of marketing and sales initiatives as well as perform some administrative duties. 

This position directly reports to the Marketing Manager but will also work with members of the NAM sales team and NAM Sales Director. 

The profile of this candidate is for a dynamic individual that enjoys taking on new challenges and responsibilities.  This candidate must be able to work independently to support sales and regional marketing initiatives with a resourceful attitude and positive approach.  A true team player that implements and monitors marketing programs and assists with team event planning.

As our Marketing Intern, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

• Leading pre-qualification.
• CRM database entry and cleaning
• Creation or modification of documents such as correspondence, drafts, memos, emails, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, success stories, etc.
• Graphic adaptation of marketing assets (brochures, banners, presentations, videos, etc.,) utilizing Adobe and Microsoft software
• Involvement in the implementation of a digital marketing strategy
• Assisting in recruitment of success story candidates.
• Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Assisting with the creation of samples cards
• Transcribing minutes from meetings
• Conducting market research as needed

What we will love about your background: 

• High School Diploma or GED and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.           
• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

Your Experience and Education include:             

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and concepts.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative on projects.
• Prior internship experience in marketing or related fields is a plus but not required.
