What you will be doing:

 

As the Project and Key Accounts Manager, you will lead the delivery of Building Technology Solutions professional services and software solutions, managing projects from planning and construction through facility operations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, coordinating field service activities, supporting key accounts, and ensuring successful implementation of software solutions, and assistance facilitating related project product sales. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers, field technicians, sales teams, channel partners, and software developers to drive project execution, software adoption, account growth, and customer satisfaction. You will also support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, managing contracts and customer relationships, and helping shape the future of our professional services offering through customer feedback and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key areas you will contribute to in this role:

 

  • Manage and execute professional services projects, field activities, and site-based consulting engagements.
  • Perform and oversee field-based inspections, surveys, audits, inventory programs, and consulting engagements for customer facilities.
  • Lead fire, smoke, egress, and door opening assessments while documenting findings and providing remediation recommendations.
  • Coordinate field resources to ensure consistent nationwide project delivery.
  • Lead key account relationships, contract administration, invoicing, and customer satisfaction (success) initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support field technicians, sales teams, and external project stakeholders.
  • Recruit, train, manage, and oversee field resources to support national project delivery.
  • Deliver training, onboarding, and ongoing support for related software solutions.
  • Partner with internal sales teams and external customers to drive software adoption and business growth.
  • Provide customer insights and feedback to support software enhancements, process improvements, and service innovation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Professional selling and demand generation skills; including proven presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Self-starter, active listener, with strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and review CSI MasterFormat Division 08 architectural specifications and construction documents including door schedules, hardware sets, floor plans, elevations, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Understanding of fire, life safety, accessibility, and model building codes in relation to door and hardware specifications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and follow-up habits. Ability to meet multiple project deadlines and exercise effective time management with on-time activity reporting.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven.
  • Ability to work and perform responsibilities in the field at construction sites and end-user facilities.
  • Ability to travel upon request. 50 - 75% travel ability required.
  • Reasonable proximity within to major airport.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

 

Education and/or experience:

  • Your background includes a College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural, engineering, construction science/management, business, or similar), or have work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma.
  • At least 2-3 years’ industry related experience in construction project management experience is preferred.
  • Architectural and construction industry-related experience, including door and hardware applications and specifications and software training and support, is a plus.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Above average working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture® software preferred.
  • Familiarity of construction management software applications is a plus.

The wage range for this role is $100K - $115K and considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business requirements, geographic location and other business and organizational needs. This salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
