The PACS business is highly visible and one of our most significant portfolios within HID Global. The PACS products include smart cards, mobile access and identifications, software, services and controllers for physical access control.        

 

As our Product Manager - Transparent Architecture Solutions​​​​​​​, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Product Ownership: Managing and driving the product vision and roadmap. Translating business priorities into actionable goals for development teams, ensuring they are aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including other Product Managers, Solution Managers, Architects, and customers. Understanding the broader solution context and managing a well-prioritized feature backlog.
  • Technical Leadership: Serving as a subject matter expert on complex technical issues, showcasing creativity and strategic thinking. Leading your workgroup by leveraging your specialized knowledge and expertise.
  • Execution: Developing and communicating the product vision and roadmap, managing the flow of work into the backlog, and participating in product increment planning.
  • Delivery: Striving for frequent delivery of value. Depending on the scope of your assigned product or solution, you may be accountable for various deliveries such as release notes, technical documentation, and training.

 

What we will love about your background: 

 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Must be able to present ideas and projects before groups of individuals.

 

Your Experience and Education include:             

 

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in product development.
  • Previous experience as a Product Manager or a similar role in Product Management.
  • Familiarity with EU standards / bodies (Common Criteria, ANSSI, BSI, CPNI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with agile development and lean innovation practices is advantageous.
  • Training in SAFe, such as Implementing SAFe and/or SAFe POPM, is a plus.
  • Experience in introducing new products / solutions to the market is desirable.
  • Previous close collaboration with Innovation programs is a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel, including international travel; must possess or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the country of hire.
  • Compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures.
